Morgan Adcock
I spent most of my life in East Tennessee were I was born and raised. In 2025 my family and I planted new roots in Western Pennsylvania. From a young age I was drawn to the arts, always dabbling in some form of it. At 15 I was gifted my first camera and the rest was history. I documented every moment that I could and even had the pleasure of photographing a beloved teacher’s wedding in high school. My bread and butter has been photographing families and weddings for the last 10 years. After having my son in 2023, I began to realize that a shift was needed in my work. I have now transitioned to shooting primarily families, where my heart and soul are. Becoming a mother helped me to realize the importance of family legacy and the preservation of it. It’s not always perfect and beautiful, most times it is messy and imperfect and that is why I love working with families. I love showing families the beauty that is in the mundane and messiness of it all. I love making them feel understand through photographs.
When I’m not taking photos, you can find me spending time with family and friends or dabbling in design. I also work as a teacher in a Montessori school, which is strangely very connected to what I do as a photographer - intentional, observant, and driven in empathy. I live in Pittsburgh, PA and absolutely love to call this area my new home. Pictured on the right is a photo of my son and I (one of my favorites). He is my world and being a mother is my favorite title.
